The weather in Arizona has finally started to cool off, and its finally begging to feel a lot like Christmas. It’s the most beautiful time of year, especially here in the desert, but, unfortunately, it’s also the start of my kids catching everything at school! There are so many reasons to support our immune systems this time of year, but making sure we are able to enjoy the Holidays is one of the biggest! That’s why I’m so excited to team up with Sambucol, to bring you one of my favorite winter kid’s creations and share the amazing benefits of Sambucol Black Elderberry.
You’ve probably noticed if you’ve been following my recipes that in some of favorite kid’s breakfasts, I add vitamins as part of it. This is because my kid’s easily take them when they are incorporated as part of their food! My entire family has been using Sambucol Black Elderberry products for immune support for years, and when I learned that they are vegan, gluten, soy, dairy, egg free, AND made in a nut-free facility, my 4-year-old started using them too! Sambucol Black Elderberry Gummies are pectin based, sweetened only with pure cane sugar, and contain no artificial flavors or colors. Besides, it’s usually their favorite part of breakfast!
Your kids will also love getting their vitamins with this snowman! It’s not only fun & healthy, but will give your little ones a power up in immunity! * You can get 10% off your Sambucol purchase with code FAD10 at www.SambucolUSA.com.
HOW TO MAKE THE TOAST
𝙄𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨
· 1/2 cup of any safe alternative milk Note: I used oat milk, but you can choose anything.
· 3/4 tbs chia seeds
· 1/2 cup rolled oats
· 1 tbs Maple Syrup
· 1 tsp vanilla extract
· 1 tbs nut butter Note: I used Crazy Walnuts oatmeal cookie 🍪 flavored walnut butter, which is from a dedicated walnut only facility, but this recipe is great without any nut butter to make it top 8 free!
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and stir very well. Cover and leave it in the fridge overnight. Serve cold or warm. Decorate with blueberries for the mouth, orange for the nose, apple for the hat, lime & Sambucol for the eyes. Ta-da~! Snowman!
